Structural consolidation and Restoration

The consolidation and restoration of historical and valuable buildings required the greatest of delicacy; projects in these fields require very high levels of professionalism and experience in order to assure maximum quality of the finished product, operational safety and punctual delivery times. Thanks to their extensive experience in the sector, Coseam's associates work on structures and materials whilst respecting their original characteristics and, whenever possible, use original materials for rebuilding work. The sensitiveness and knowledge that are indispensable for performing both major and minor projects, allow the consortium companies to operate without distorting the nature of the building. Additionally, significant annual investments are made for the purchase of leading-edge machinery and last-generation materials. For restoration work on movable objects, an initial survey is performed involving a preliminary study of the object, both in site and in the laboratory; analyses are performed in order to identify the constituent elements of the work, after which the pre-cleaning and, if necessary, pre-consolidation phases are performed normally. Then, real and proper cleaning takes place and any incompatible restoration work and integrations are removed. The project is completed with consolidation work, any integrations, and the application of final protection. The restoration project is completely documented, from its original state, to the descriptive phases of the operations performed, up to its final state after work has been completed.
